We had a "Sharon moment" this week. As Courtney left for her spring break in Costa Rica she was VERY NERVOUS about her pending application for Teach for America, which she REALLY wanted. Her last words to me before she took off were:
"At least I feel good about the whole application process, I left no stone unturned— just like Sharon taught me."
Tonight she got the news (online) that her dream job is coming true. She'll be in NYC teaching elementary kids. She said, "I feel like I got in Georgetown all over again."
So your good work lives on!!
